Project Life CTMH Style Weeks 3 and 4

I'm really enjoying my Project Life CTMH Style project. I love making "little canvases" to slip into my 4" x 6" pockets and I love being able to scrapbook just one picture of something as opposed to thinking I need a certain number of pictures from one event or topic to create a 12" x 12" layout.

You may recall that I combined weeks 1 and 2 into one double layout. Weeks 3 and 4 each have their own double layouts since I had more pictures for these weeks. I love the fact that I can be somewhat flexible as to how many pictures I take per week.

This is the left side of week 3. You might recognize my journaling cards from this post. I modified them a bit to fit my layouts.

Here's the facing page of week 3.

This is the left side of week 4.  I used some very old paper...so happy I am finally using it!

And here is the right side of week 4.

Week 5 is currently spread out all over my coffee table!

Coluzzle Revisited

Does anyone miss their Coluzzle? I can hear you naysayers out there and I know we have many more advanced systems now, but I still have my Coluzzle templates. I just couldn't bear to get rid of them. Yes, I am a hoarder! Fortunately (or unfortunately---since it reinforces my hoarding tendencies), I found a use for my Coluzzle circle template recently. My daughter is going to have a "make your own pizza party" for her upcoming birthday so I started searching for interesting ways to make the invites. I ran across this wonderful video from five years ago which shows how to make a pizza slice shaped card using none other than the Coluzzle. Too bad I got rid of all of my Coluzzle things...wait, NO I DIDN'T! Anyway, here's the video by Christine David. Thank you Christine!

Our cards were much simpler than Christine's but we made seven of them...this morning...and we finished right before going to the bus stop so my daughter could deliver them in school! Whew! Good thing we typed up the info for the insides on the computer!

A big bonus is that I used scraps for the toppings and crusts. Love it when I can use my scraps!

If you don't have a Coluzzle circle template, I'm sure you could use something like the Cricut...or a plate! I was thinking tht if we used circle cards that it might look cute as a whole pizza too.
